ABOUT
I am a professional photographer and designer offering unique services to Ballet Schools across London. I capture the journeys of the dancers as they progress through classes, workshops, rehearsals and stage productions. The images create a powerful record for the schools, as well as treasured mementos for parents and families alike. My work with dance institutions spans more than a decade.
As well as Ballet School photography, I photograph dance shoots on location, and develop interesting photographic concepts to support all marketing platforms.
My work: 'Dreams on Hold' – a photographic journal capturing ballet students’ lockdown dance life - has recently been published in The Wonderful World of Dance (November 2020).
CLIENTS
What is now a ten year long collaboration with The Ballet School London is where it all started.
Very soon followed Moone Ballet School and Natalia Kremen Ballet School, West London School of Dance, Highgate Ballet School as well as Knightsbridge Ballet.
Most recently I have entered a collaborations with Royal Ballet School, Ballet Arts Project, Sander Blommeart, Young Dancers Academy and Zoe Epstein.
BALLET CLASSES
BALLET CLASS & PERFORMANCE PHOTOGRAPHY
I document ballet classes, rehearsals, shows, and those special moments that go on behind the scenes - group dynamics, movements and emotions. I capture every child discreetly to preserve the authenticity of each event, and every element of a performance.
Ballet Schools, who choose to have events photographed, are presented with unobtrusive images that capture the highlights of their calendars, including: mock exams, competitions, workshops, summer intensives and other special occasions featuring the journeys of students through the school.
Whether I am photographing a ballet class or a show, my aim is always the same - to record the highs, joy and drama, but most importantly I photograph every dancer taking part so their individual experience is celebrated and documented.

I offer bespoke, custom designed location shoots for both young and professional dancers.
A distinct feature in my portfolio is shooting outdoors. I love to make use of natural light and utilise the wonderful architecture of London streets, parks and secret beauty spots. Working together, we will decide on a fantastic location, complimentary clothing and evocative poses to ensure the desired results are achieved.
The need for marketing images has never been greater for professional dancers, who are running online classes or looking for images to use on their website or social media platforms.
